My parents are very old, sick, disabled and have no financial means. Medicare is a joke. Compulsory registration for the poor, and Medicaid, to ensure that the family must survive. When making our government better. People today are living longer. One day we will. We will have all age groups at a given time and the same problems.

I recommend you to see Congressman Ron Paul. He wants a comprehensive reform of Medicare / Medicaid system.

Everyone is talking about universal health care because they have been for 16 years, and nothing has been done to change this situation. The lobby in Washington, provides pharmaceutical companies and health insurance companies do not want to change the system of care, because it's raining money on them. Elected officials are serviced by the court and the benefits they have from them and not changed anything, except to worsen.
